I imagine the paranoid hawks will go berserk with this news, screaming “Appeasement! Traitors! blah blah bla.”

But for me, it’s a positive step toward peace. It says, “Yes, we are open to real dialogue. Let’s air our grievances and fears, and hopefully come to an agreement.”
