I wonder what job creation is really out there. People keep saying green jobs, green jobs, but what are the numbers. I've suggested cleanenergyrm.org but have been met with silence , legislators and environmentalists refuse to talk about it. Finance and the environment are two unrelated interest groups, oil and water.
Reich and the free traders shipped American manufacturing jobs on a slow boat to China.U.S. manufacturing is capital not labor intense, which means few jobs. Interest rates on credit cards are not going down so people are not buying .We could invest in affordable housing but that would depress housing prices. We're in a private sector pickle , where helping the economy means hurting privileged interests, which is like trying to talk a dog off a meat truck.
