Eric Garcetti Wins LA Mayoral Race

Eric Garcetti Wins Mayoral RaceEric Garcetti wins his bid to replace Antonio Villaraigosa as mayor of Los Angeles. The tight race between Garcetti and Wendy Greuel ended with Garcetti garnering 53.92% of the votes per the 3:16 am final bulletin published by the Los Angeles City Clerk.

The election, which was held just 2 1/2 months after the March 5th primary, was not expected to yield a high turnout. Eric Garcetti was the primary victor with Greuel running a close 2nd in an 8 candidate race.

Results from all other Los Angeles City races are shown below including City Attorney, Controller, several City Council seats, LAUSD Offices and ballot measures.

Proposition C, the resolution to support a constitutional amendment regarding limits on political campaigns was heavily supported by voters with more than 76% voting yes.
