This is the second of a three part series. In this interview, Gabriel Buelna, director of The Non-Profit Network asks Father Boyle pointed questions about the experiences he’s had working with gangs in Los Angeles. Father Boyle goes in-depth, answering Buelna’s questions and further discussing the world of the nonprofit.  Fr. Boyle challenges local government and shares his thoughts on the hurdles associated with starting and operating a nonprofit organization.  He also discusses ways the organization has raised funds including an idea that was brought to him by actress Rosario Dawson and his best selling book, “Tattoos on the Heart“.
