This is very exciting! A way for candidates who won’t be getting 1K donations from wealthy charter executives to have their voices heard. It’s a shame the incumbent won’t face the community, but her constituents are on 10900 Wilshire blvd., not District 2.

Joe Mathews: Why not take the debates away from the media companies and turn them over to universities or nonprofits with expertise in technology, communication, and civic engagement?
