rupert murdochWhat do survivors of 9/11, David Beckham, and Paul McCartney have in common?

They all claim their phones were hacked by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. in a scheme to obtain personal information, which allegedly involved bribing police.

What would happen if a regular citizen illegally hacked into the phones of Sept. 11th survivors for personal information, bribed law enforcement officials, and then tried to cover it up? They certainly wouldn’t get off scot-free.
