The Pasadena/Foothills Chapter of ACLU SC is hosting 2 candidates forums- one on January 31st for Pasadena City Council candidates (6:30 PM at Church of Truth, 690 East Orange Grove Blvd.) and one Pasadena Unified School District candidates on Thursday, Feburary 7th (6:30 PM at 301 North Orange Grove Blvd.)
Ed Rampell: This behind-the-scenes expose of the banksters and their nefarious high finance manipulations and machinations is a fictional, highly entertaining counterpart to Oscar winning documentary Inside Job, about Wall Street’s massive defrauding of the people — at taxpayer expense.
Jim Hightower: So perkily quirky, so ridiculously right-wing, so piously hypocritical, so incoherently pontifical – the Minnesota Congresswoman, tea party sparklie, and flash-in-the-pan presidential pretender was a gusher of good news for the progressive cause every time she opened her mouth.
Margaret Flowers: The Turkish Health Ministry issued a threat to take medical licenses to practice away from doctors who have been providing treatment to the protesters in Istanbul.
