		<description>I guess that if Linda had her way, the districts would each contain about 57% Democratic voters and 43% Republican voters (not counting independents).  Then, there would be a real possibility that the California Assembly and Senate would be 100% (or nearly so) Democratic.  Wouldn&#039;t that be nice?

In my opinion, the purpose of redistricting is to be fair, not to concentrate power.  Or, to put it another way, Prop 11 seeks to benefit the voters, not the politic parties.  (So, of course, the LA Progressive is against it.)</description>
