PDLA has proposed that we plan a <b>WELCOMING EVENT</b> so that Nancy will know just how much we appreciate her efforts to stop the war, cut off funding, begin the impeachment investigations, and protect us by voting for the new FISA bill that finishes off the 4th Amendment and prevents the telecoms from getting their day in court. Way to GO Nancy!!! The Republicans certainly couldn't have done it without you!!! FISA VOTE:http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2008/roll437.xml Don't be last in line to get your tickets if you have the cash to spare. We now know what she's been doing with her time---writing a BOOK!!! And, she even has the audacity to describe it as containing "wise words!" We'll have to search for those to see if there's any CLUE in them to describe her actions since breaking through the glass ceiling. PLEASE NOTE---This is a <b>SPECIAL T-SHIRT</b> event! I know that I have my welcoming selection: PDA's "Healthcare Not Warfare," "Impeach Bush," definition of progressive... I just don't know which is most appropriate! And make sure you arrive REALLY EARLY so that you can get the best parking and take your welcoming positions near the door (or inside if rich enough to pay her the $30 in addition to contributing to our local candidates). Republicans and Democrats alike stood by as Bush/Cheney led them to the dungeons of darkness. Fueled by fear of the unknown and inexperience, Congress allowed them to roll over the Constitution with complete disregard. I hate Bush...but he has broken no rules without Congress' nod of approval. Time to sweep house America! From the Bottom up! I agree…the congress let it happen. With Social Security, the War on Terror, Economy, etc. We voted twice for our current President, and now we have reaped the fruits that is tearing our Country apart. I think Nancy Pelosi, should not be the only person who have failed us by not continuing with impeachment trial.
