<description>Ocean waves and currents are always present. They create continuous movements and should be harnessed for their abundant energy source. There isn&#039;t always sunlight or wind, but there is always waves and currents.

Wave generators can greatly help us increase electricity production. Other countries have experimented with them and so must we. From pontoon style wave generators that float above the water to rotating paddle generators that sit in the water to tubular cylinders that catch ocean waves to move large pistons, all will give us a chance for a cleaner environment.

Los Angeles is a huge coastal community and should take advantage of the ocean&#039;s energy. Let us be the first large city in the U.S. to show others how it can be done.
