What gives America's political leaders license to send their armed forces into another country? How would "Americans" react to foreign invasions to improve democracy? 9/11 has had the entire nation up in arms for over seven years, and counting. According to Robert Kagan, in Dangerous Nation, America's history is a history of untrammeled expansionism, interventions, and invasions of other countries.
