I usually refrain from commenting as much as possible, but this comment cannot go unchallenged. It speaks to racism and is veiled in eugenics. Go to the author's website JimFreedom.com and make your own call. Population control in the third world is a way to blame the dispossessed. I challenge you to give up all infrastructure, and I do mean all, and make these statements again. Hiding behind "humanity" and ecology has another name and it is called "The Greening of Hate."

If you cannot afford to feed a child then you cannot afford to have one. Overpopulation is one of the main sources of problems for humanity. Anybody that discourages people from looking at this problem is doing a disservice to those people and humanity as a whole.

Population growth in the First World is just as much, if not more, of a problem than population growth in the Third World, since an average person in North American consumes many times that of someone in Africa, and also many Asian and South American countries.

But a population can overwhelm infrastructure and resources no matter where you are.
