david "katya" ketchum

david "Katya," ketchum (pronouns: they/them) is a home-schooling parent, interfaith minister, and community educator. They hold a master's degree in Intercultural Studies, and have continued their learning in the fields of conflict transformation, sustainable development, and social transformation. They have been offering community programming and education since 1993, and training and services related to conflict transformation and community development since 2007, including working as a mediator, trainer, and organizational consultant with Peace Bridges in Phnom Penh, Cambodia (2007-2010). Their work has focused on supporting marginalized populations, including at-risk teens, survivors of abuse, communities experiencing direct and structural injustice, and families struggling with conflict and violence, to find creative and constructive responses to difficult circumstances and unjust systems.
