Devon Porter

Devon Porter is Liman fellow at the ACLU of Southern California. Devon's work focuses on economic justice issues. During her time at the ACLU, she will work to reform practices that unfairly burden economically disadvantaged people who are caught up in the criminal justice system. Prior to her fellowship, Devon clerked for the Honorable Richard A. Paez of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. She graduated from Yale Law School, where she co-authored a national survey of solitary confinement practices in state prisons. She previously spent a summer working in the Civil Rights Division at the Department of Justice.
