Fred Glass

Fred Glass is the retired communications director of the California Federation of Teachers, and the author of From Mission to Microchip: A History of the California Labor Movement (UC Press, 2016). His 10-part documentary video on the history of the California labor movement, Golden Lands, Working Hands (1999), aired on PBS stations in California; every public high school in the state has a copy.
