About Jessica Price
Jessica Price (@jessicagprice) is staff attorney at the ACLU of Southern California.
Since joining ACLU SoCal in 2010, Jessica has worked on Johnson v. Baca to redress the systemic denial of access to programs and services for detainees with mobility impairments that are confined in the L.A. County Jail. She has also worked on Rutherford v. Baca, a case in which the ACLU of Southern California has been appointed by the court to monitor L.A. County jails for violence, overcrowding, and other conditions of confinement.
She served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Eldon E. Fallon in the Eastern District of Louisiana. The following year, she clerked for the Honorable Dorothy W. Nelson of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jessica graduated with Honors in Sociology with Political Science from Yale College. She graduated from Harvard Law School, where she was an editor for the Harvard Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Law Review.
