Marcia Hanscom

Marcia Hanscom is executive director for Ballona Institute, known as The Voice for Nature on the Los Angeles Coast. She is also Chair for Sierra Club’s Ballona Wetlands Restoration Committee, and she is a writer who has worked to protect the Ballona Wetlands since 1995, and has lived on the Los Angeles coast since 2004.
