Mark Bird

Mark Bird is a retired sociology professor and author of the book 800 Laws in Sociology. He taught at two colleges in Arizona and two in Nevada. He is author of over 30 commentaries and articles that appeared in over 10 publications. He is also a former water analyst with the US Department of the Interior. He has a gravity-powered seawater desalination patent (number 6,083,383) which purports to lower desalting costs by 90 percent. As an inspiration to other writers that words influence people, a governor once invited him to his office to discuss water issues and desalination.
