RL Miller and Amar Shergill

RL Miller founded Climate Hawks Vote to build grassroots political power for the climate movement. Miller is also a Woolsey fire survivor, elected to the Democratic National Committee (2020-2024), elected chair of California Democratic Party’s Environmental Caucus (2013-2021), and tweets way too much as @RL_Miller. Outside interests include keeping chickens and sleeping. 

Amar Shergill is an elected Executive Board Member with the California Democratic Party and elected Chair of the Progressive Caucus. In this role, he helps lead Party delegates to support progressive issues and hold Party leadership accountable to its members. Amar is also a trial lawyer practicing in personal injury and wrongful death cases. He engages in pro bono representation of victims of hate crimes and has a number of leadership positions in Sikh community organizations. Right now, Amar is mostly working from home and, with his wife of twenty years, is trying to keep enough food in the house for three teenage children.
