Ronald Leach: National leadership must recognize that even when there is a clear uncontroversial cause – jus ad bellum, the justice of war, the ability to ensure and sustain justice in war or the perception of justice in war is near impossible.
Ronald Leach is a retired US Army Major, who served as an Infantry Soldier, Paratrooper, Special Forces Medical Sergeant/Green Beret and A-Team member, as well as an Army Physician Assistant. He served four combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as missions related to Foreign Internal Defense, Interoperability Training, and Drug Interdiction missions. He is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in International Security and Intelligence through the Patterson School of Diplomacy and Graduate Level Certificate in Global Health through the College of Public Health, both at the University of Kentucky. Most importantly, he is married to Kelly, a retired US Army Nurse and Lieutenant Colonel. Together they have six children, two grandchildren, and are in the process of certification to serve as a foster care family.
