As an applied macroeconomist, Yuriy Gorodnichenko works on a broad array of topics that overlap with public finance, development, international economics, and econometrics. He is the associate editor of the Journal of European Economic Association, and a visiting scholar with the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco. Gorodnichenko earned his B.A. and M.A. in economics at the National University’s Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kiev, Ukraine, and a Ph.D. in economics at the University of Michigan. He is a citizen of Ukraine.
