  1. With the selection of Tom Perez, (not that Ellison was all that progressive) following the choices of Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, the Dem party has made it clear that they are betting that the changing racial demographics alone will allow them to continue hewing to their corporatist agenda instead of doing real soul searching and becoming the party of the working class, a charade they have been woefully inadequate in pretending to be and that the sham Trump was able to exploit.

If you thought the 2016 presidential election was a real stinker, just try imagining what the 2020 one will smell like, what with Booker, Cuomo et al lining up as opponents to the wretched trump or maybe Paul Ryan.

Until I hear the Dem establishment forcefully denounce the presidencies of Clinton and Obama, I will know that there is no hope for their party and another must come up to take the place they pretend to fill, fooling fewer people each election in that charade.

  2. I wholeheartedly agree that Bernie Sanders brought new voters into the Democratic Party “only to be undermined by DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz who worked hand in glove with the out-of-touch Clinton wing of the party.” (And then was hired to be a key strategist in Clinton’s campaign…. has everyone forgotten?) And most importantly, “this infighting failed not only the party, but also the nation (and the world) by losing the election to an ethically challenged billionaire demagogue.” It was demoralizing and heartbreaking to witness this and to be confronted with the “rabid” supporters of Clinton who were quick to accuse me of sexism if I didn’t support HRC. Maybe it’s time to abandon the Democratic Party and let the few remaining sane Republicans join them while the Progressive
Party forms, charging ahead, and the White Supremacists, currently ruling our country, tumble and fall down never to rise again.

  3. Keith Ellison is the Great Whites Hope (Schumer, Bernie, Pelosi, Soros). Obama redux. A Muslim who calls for a Syrian no-fly zone (for four years). Identity politics without a conscience.
