Henry “Hank” Jones is a former political prisoner and has been a fighter for social justice and human rights most of his life. He has worked as an organizer with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). He was a member of the Black Panther Party and was recently targeted for political prosecution as one of the San Francisco 8. Currently, he does human rights, social justice, and political prisoner advocacy work.
Sasha Buchert and Coral Feigin: SB 310 would make it possible for trans people in custody to file for a legal name and/or gender marker change on their identification documents and would ensure that they are recognized as such while incarcerated.
In his impulsiveness, Trump seems not to have considered that in this Syrian war there are not two sides, but many sides, and none of those sides is really on our side. Each is playing its own game.
