Deepak Chopra says upcoming Sister Giant conference “introduces wisdom into politics”
World-renowned spiritual leader Deepak Chopra released a video endorsement of Sister Giant, a nonpartisan conference on women and politics organized by bestselling author Marianne Williamson, taking place November 10-11 at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles.
Chopra calls Sister Giant “a new movement in American politics that is based on nonviolence, inspiration, creativity” and “something that introduces wisdom into politics…so that we can actually become the change we want to see in the world.”
Sister Giant will address issues of national importance such as child poverty, high incarceration rates, and money in politics. The conference will include political campaign training by the Women’s Campaign School at Yale University.
