Come strategize around critical issues of race and resistance. Dynamic speakers will kick off an open conversation on how to sustain the movement against police violence and address poverty, jobs, gentrification, and schools.
- Lawrencia Colding: Actor and performance artist; Black community activist who campaigned for gay marriage rights; vocal participant in organizing for civilian control over the police.
- Sikivu Hutchinson - Educator, founder of the Women’s Leadership Project (a high school feminist mentoring program in South Los Angeles), and a contributing editor for The Feminist Wire.
- Duciana Thomas - Co-convener of Sisterhood and Solidarity, Bay Area Coordinator for Comrades of Color Caucus of RW and FSP, and an activist against police abuse.
