It takes one to know one. Donald Trump is now officially 74 years old, the second oldest person ever to serve as President. (Ronald Reagan served as President until he was 77 years old, but he probably did not remember much of his last two years due to early onset Alzheimer's.) Trump's father Fred Drumpf/Trump died in his early 90s, but spent his last 10 years or so not remembering who he was for the same reason.
Trump has never released his medical records, except for the phony ones released by his New York doctor, which probably was dictated in five minutes by Trump himself, and the laughable one released by his first White House doctor, Ronny Jackson. According to these suspect reports, Trump is "the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency."
My belief is that, although Trump maintains that he has never smoked or consumed alcohol, he has been taking amphetamines and/or other barbiturates for many years. These drugs have been part of the reason why his public utterances have an often manic, out of control quality to them, and why he seems to have an inability to concentrate. He is a drug addict…
This past weekend, he gingerly descended a ramp following his West Point commencement address, and drank a cup of water with two hands
JFK was also under medical treatment for many years, taking pain killers to combat severe back pain and other ailments, as came out years after his death. But these drugs never seemed to affect his decision-making process. Trump, however, seems to be really declining in his cognitive abilities. He is losing it…
Trump was the oldest person to assume the Presidency, at 70 years, 220 days, on his Inauguration Day. Teddy Roosevelt was the youngest President ever, at 42 years, 322 days, when he assumed the Presidency after the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901. JFK was the youngest elected President, at 43 years, 236 days when inaugurated.
In November, 2019, Trump made an unannounced, rushed visit to Walter Reed Hospital for what was said to be the first part of his annual physical, only a few months after his last physical. He supposedly finished his annual physical on June 3, 2020, but only sketchy bits of information were released. This past weekend, he gingerly descended a ramp following his West Point commencement address, and drank a cup of water with two hands after failing to lift it far enough to drink with his right arm alone. Has he had a mini-stroke?
According to his latest physical, Trump's weight is now 244 pounds , making him "clinically obese" for the second year in a row. It also confirms that he has ingested hydroxychloroquine to fight against the COVID-19 virus, in spite of strong medical opinion that it does nothing to control or prevent the disease.
Trump refuses to wear a face mask, believing that it would make him look "weak". But when the country is facing a serious pandemic, the actions of the President are important examples of what Americans should do to help control the pandemic, and Trump is sending a bad message. Also, he is ignorant of the real reason for wearing a mask—to prevent the spread of the virus from the person wearing the mask to others around him. But egomaniac that he is, Trump only cares about himself…
"Sleepy Joe" Biden
In December, 2019, the Biden campaign released medical records revealing that the 77-year-old Biden does not drink alcohol, does not use any tobacco products, and works out five days a week. Biden, according to his medical records, was being treated for "non-valvular atrial fibrillation (A-Fib), hyperlipidemia, gastroesophageal reflux, and seasonal allergies."
n 1988, Biden underwent surgery for a cerebral aneurysm, and has not had a reoccurrence. He has also had prostate surgery, although he has not had prostate cancer, and he had his gall bladder removed in 2003. He has had several non-melanoma skin cancers removed, and is nearly 6 feet tall, weighs 184 pounds, has a blood pressure of 128/84 and a cholesterol reading of 126. Does not look very "sleepy" to me…
As an even Older Fart than Donald Trump, I wake up every morning wishing that he was gone from my life and the lives of my fellow Americans. He can do little to harm me, but his actions as President have the potential to harm the future lives of my children and grandchildren, and I hate him for doing that.
