Anton Pasiechnikov

On November 29th, Wizz Financial announced appointment of Anton Pasiechnikov as its new CEO. The company is a subsidiary of Prism Group AG in partnership with Royal Strategic Partners, specialized in cross-border payments. Pasiechnikov joins after serving as Revolut’s CIO, and previously in several roles at Credit Suisse and Renaissance Capital.

Pasiechnikov has more than 25 years of experience in the financial sector, particularly with managing market risks, maintaining a global high-volume hedging platform for foreign exchange, international transfers, precious metals, and crypto trading. He received his master’s degree in Biochemical Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics & Technology and an Executive MBA degree from London Business School.

Pasiechnikov has shown great enthusiasm regarding his new role. He previously stated that “Wizz Financial has created the largest cross-border payments system in the region and I am very excited to join the team and to work closely with them to revolutionize this industry and reimagine financial services for our customers.”

“Anton brings an important dimension of experience to our company and will play an important role as we continue to build the largest fintech in the MENA region and serve more than 20 million customers,” said Wizz Financial Co-Founder and Chairman Amir Nagammy. “His extensive financial background and business development skills will help build the leading technology payment platform for the MENA region, Africa and India.”
