The Metaverse and NFTs are changing the face of art. Art had already been digitized with the development of certain technologies and applications like "Procreate" or "Tilt Brush" and the growing influence of artists like Jean Arno, Karol Kolodinski, Pete Harrison, Anna Zhilyaeva, David Waters, Mike Winkelmann, and Heiko Klug. What at first appeared to be only a trend is about to change art itself.

The idea of "Chaosism," a new artistic concept developed by Jean Arno and the Astrée collective and defined as "the embodiment of the complexity of life in the unity of art" could only be translated into reality through an advanced technology capable of multiplying the significant layers: digital art and the Metaverse. The new, digitized universe, praised by Mark Zuckerberg, opens up a world of infinite creative possibilities, which is why the digital art gallery Art & Above has decided to take the plunge by moving into the Metaverse. "We have created a new kind of art gallery: any artistic object—including the art gallery itself—becomes the occasion for an artistic experience … for collaboration. The visitor is no longer a contemplator; he is called to become an artist himself and to create", says the founder, Jean Arno.

This idea, dear to Jean Arno and already developed in the hidden preface of his poetic and cryptic work The Trophies, is taken up here in its artistic dimension. It is therefore not surprising to see the Astrée collective invade the Art & Above Meta-gallery with its futuristic, surrealist, and symbolic NFTs. It seems that artists are now masters of their works and of an art that has been able to put the latest technological tools at the service of the deepest artistic visions, not to satisfy an aesthetic fashion, but to metamorphose and overcome itself. For art lovers, from now on the illustrious Boring Ape could be replaced by Jean Arno's Prometheus or The Liberated Man—the phenomenon of the exhibition.
