What domain will not only be comfortable but also challenging for you? For Morka, it was entertainment, vines, videos, and all things fun. When starting out as an influencer, Morka decided he wanted to address long-standing traditions, culture, and community lifestyle with his content, which is what is reflected in all his Tik Tok videos, short films, and other platforms. So the very first thing before stepping into the industry to keep in mind, according to Morka, is to select your niche and then go on from there.
The second thing that Chuk stressed was understanding your audience. To become a successful influencer and actor, an individual needs to reach out to an audience that resonates with your selected niche. He exclaimed, “It’s simple really, see I’m an actor and a Tik Tok influencer, but if I were to create such content that my followers aren’t familiar with, they’d lose interest in what I do, and hence I’ll go straight downhill from there.” What worked out the best for me was to cater to the interest of my followers, and that requires a thorough understanding of them, knowing what they like, and creating content accordingly.
The third and last thing that Morka mentioned was consistency. Regularity is the key to win the hearts of your followers. As a thriving influencer and actor, Morka stressed explicitly on the regular posting of quality content. And for that to happen, you have to be dedicated to working long hours without complaint.
