Statistics show us that every year in the United States, there are approximately six million road traffic accidents. This equates to more than 16,000 traffic accidents each year. Globally, around 1.25 million people die in road traffic accidents each year.

In early 2021, with the wintry conditions making driving more difficult, we have already seen a large number of tragic accidents on our roads. A vehicle's braking ability is severely impacted in wet and icy conditions, meaning we all need to slow down when driving in inclement weather.

In this blog post, we'll look at four tragic road accidents that have happened on US roads so far this year.
